Novel Coronavirus Update
Updates as of 9 February 2020
We are working full time on preparations for our upcoming ATTD 2020 conference and currently the Coronavirus epidemic doesn’t have an effect on our preparations.
Anti-bacterial gel and masks will be available onsite for delegates upon request.
The ATTD Conference is paying close attention to new developments with the novel Coronavirus originating in China. We’re following the guidance of the World Health Organization (WHO) and the European Centre for Disease Prevention and Control (ECDC).
We will keep you updated if any new information is available.

Agent for Italian sponsors and participants
As Organizers of the congress ATTD 2020 taking place in Madrid, Spain from 19 to 22 February 2020, we entrust TWT srl, to collect the applications from pharmaceutical companies (participating as sponsors or exhibitors) for the Italian Ministry of Health agency (Agenzia Italiana del Farmaco AIFA) procedure, in compliance with the instructions given by the Legislative Order 219 of the 24th april 2006 – art. 124.

Visa regulations depend on your nationality and country of origin. We suggest you contact your local Spanish Consulate for official instructions on the specific visa regulations and application procedures that may apply to you. It is the responsibility of the participant to obtain a visa if required.
Letter of Invitation
An official personalized letter of invitation will be provided to registered participants as part of the registration procedure. This invitation is prepared solely for the purpose of visa applications and is not a commitment on the part of the organizers to provide any financial support or confirmation of inclusion in the Scientific Program. Invitation letters can be provided electronically (PDF) or as a hard copy if required. Hard copies will be mailed via regular post free of charge. In case of special delivery (courier) request, the participant will be responsible for all charges.
Participants are advised to wear business casual for all Conference functions and programs.
Guest Attendance Policy
All event activities (including educational sessions, meal functions, exhibit hall, etc.) are exclusively reserved for registered attendees. Non-registered guests (including children, family members, colleagues, etc.) are not allowed in any of the event areas. Badges provided at registration are required for entrance into all functions and will be strictly enforced.
Liability and Insurance
Please do not leave bags or suitcases unattended at any time, whether inside or outside the session halls. Hotels strongly recommend that you use their safety deposit boxes for your valuables.
The Conference Secretariat and Organizers cannot accept liability for personal accidents or loss of or damage to private property of participants. Participants are advised to take out their own personal travel and health insurance for their trip.
Medicines for Europe Code
EU national legislation and codes of practice prohibit the advertising of prescription-only medicines to individuals not licensed/authorised to prescribe or supply ‘prescription medicines’, apply.
(Medicines for Europe Code. Article 4.1. Non-promotion of prescription-only medicines).
In order to prevent these groups from being actively approached with advertising, they will be identified as such.
